We are Rob & Cindy Athman, the owners of Top Log, Inc., in Hamilton, Montana.

Rob grew up in Minnesota, and after school he continued on to get his electrical license. He then moved to Montana, and started his electrical business, North Star Electric. He has been here for 30 years.

Cindy grew up in Darby, Montana, working in her dad’s log home manufacturing company. She then moved to Alaska for 13 years, continuing in the log home construction field in some of the harshest environments. She then returned to Montana, and opened her own chinking business, Elkhorn Log Home Chinking.

In 2021, right in the middle of the pandemic, Cindy purchased Weatherall Northwest from Mark and Susan Behrman, who began the company in 1984 in the Bitterroot Valley. They developed and produced the very first synthetic chinking system and water-based latex wood finish system. For decades they individually fabricated the commercial chinking and caulking pump that is used by most every professional in the application of synthetic sealants to logs and log siding.

In the fall of 2022, Rob and Cindy tied the knot, and now work almost side by side in the front office and storeroom. Cindy renamed the company Top Log, Inc., continuing and expanding on the legacy of the original.
